For the new Blur fan this book is a treasure, covering everything from their early childhoods up until the end of 2012 and the announcement of their current world tour. It may be mostly compiled from press cuttings but it’s comprehensive stuff and will leave you with a vastly increased knowledge of the band’s adventures on the road to stardom.
The downside, from the point of view of a Blur obsessive (hi), is that there are several incorrect song titles and references which will have you grinding your teeth in despair. But maybe I’m being too harsh. If you want to know more about Blur then this is the book for you.
